 Lawrence Dye  of Abingdon, Va. undoubtly holds the record for riding the most trips and miles on the Creeper Trail between Abingdon, Va. and White Top Station.
He has logged over 75,000 miles up and down the trail and he is still riding almost every day!

To get warmed up, he rode six trips before 1995, in 2001 he rode 11,200 mile and during 2002 he logged over 8,000.

Chances are you will meet him somewhere on the trail removing trash, helping a rider in trouble, locating fallen trees after storms etc.

Mr. Dye is dedicated patron of the Creeper Trail.

Mr. Terry of Washington State
Mr. Terry Visited the Creeper Trail early in 2002 to take a "limber-up" ride. He was in Washington co., Va. visiting relatives. Upon his retirement a few years ago, he shipped his bike to Maine and flew out for a 4700 mile trip back to Washington State where he lives.
